Private Pilot
Whether it be the pursuit of a passion, or a step toward a career, a time management enhancement, or an amazing hobby, becoming a Private Pilot offers many rewards. Whatever your reason might be, I am excited about the opportunity to help you get there.
So, how do you get there from here? The FAA has established a minimum set of requirements that must be met to earn your Private Pilot Certificate. The requirements are the following:
• Read, Speak, and Understand the English language
• At least 17 years of age (You can start training at any age)
• Pass a written test with a score of at least 70%
• Complete 40 hours of flight training:
• 20 Hours with an Instructor
• 20 Hours solo (no Instructor)
• Pass an oral and flight evaluation

What about the cost?
- Meet on whatever schedule suits you.
(2 – 3 times per week is recommended)

- Instructor:
- Ground $35 / hr
- Simulator $35 / hr
- Flight $45 / hr
- Aircraft / Fuel / Advanced PCATD
- Current Rate at Time of Purchase
- Ground Materials
- Written Exam / Examiner Fee
- Current Rate at time of Testing
